The enthusiastic staff of professional golf instructors at the Ibis Golf Academy is led by a rare talent, Director of Instruction Martin Hall.
Martin has the distinction of being named one of only four of America’s “Master Instructors” by Golf Magazine*. We are also proud to announce that Martin was recently awarded his own weekly, 30-minute golf show on Golf Channel, aptly titled "School of Golf."

Ibis Practice Facilities
Ibis features one of the premier practice facilities in the South Florida area. The entire practice facility covers over twelve acres. Both practice tees are covered with Seashore Paspalium Grass that provides a superior hitting surface. The north tee is over 94,000 sq. feet and the south tee is over 50,000 sq. feet. The north tee provides over 50 hitting stations and the south tee allows for over 30 stations each day for our membership and invited guests. The tee line is moved daily to provide the best hitting surface.
The practice fairway has twelve target flags and each of these flags is laser measured daily to notify the membership of the exact yardage to help with improving their distance control.
All four corners of our practice area are highlighted by short game facilities. Three chipping, pitching, and bunker areas allow you to practice shots from 5-75 yards from the green with various lies and conditions.
Ibis also has four Champion Bermuda Grass practice putting surfaces. They are located at various areas around the facility to allow for easy access.

Martin Hall has over thirty years of experience as a golf professional. He has competed on the European Tour and has since turned his career toward teaching the game he loves. Martin has won numerous awards for his teachings, including Florida Chapter Teacher of the Year, Florida Section Teacher of the Year, and 2008 PGA National Teacher of the Year. He is also a Master Professional of the PGA of Great Britain. He has appeared in the Golf Magazine Top 100 since 1994, and in the Golf Digest Top 50 since the list began in 2000. Martin is currently ranked as the number 10 teacher in the country. Martin is more than a great teacher; he is also an incredible writer. Martin has been featured in numerous magazines and has published two books. He is the Golf Instruction editor for the Major Series Magazine and has written over 100 instruction articles that have been published in magazines all over the world. He has also been on the Golf Channel, ESPN Radio, and on PGA Tour Radio numerous times. His most recent venture is School of Golf, a hit show on the Golf Channel. Martin is a TPI Level I Certified Instructor, as well as TPI Biomechanics Level II certified. He uses modern technology in his teachings, including Trackman, K-Vest, AMM 3D motion analysis, and SAM Putt. This shows in the quality of instruction that he produces, and the caliber of players that he works with. He has taught the youngest winner of a women’s major, Morgan Pressel, from when she was nine years old. Martin also married a golfer. His wife, Lisa Hall, is a former Solheim Cup player and has nine worldwide wins. Martin has made a lifetime vocation to learn from the best teachers and has studied under most of them. That list of names includes Bob Toski, Jim Flick, Peter Kostis, John Jacobs, Henry Cotton, Homer Kelly, Jim Hardy, Phil Riston, Mike Bender, Chuck Evans, Ben Doyle, Chuck Cook, Tom Ness, Jim Suttie, Craig Harmon, Hank Haney, Stan Utley, and Rick Jensen. | Robin Boretti |
Robin Boretti is in her 18th year as a teaching professional at Ibis Golf & Country Club. She is a PGA member and a Class A member of the LPGA Teaching Division. Robin’s interest in golf was encouraged by her first coach, her father, Al Auger. With him, she won the Massachusetts Father-Daughter Championship. In high school, Robin played on the male golf team where she was the number one ranked player, as well as co-captain of the team. In addition, she won the Massachusetts Girl’s High School Championship. As a result of her excellent play through high school, she was awarded a four-year golf scholarship to Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. While in college, she was ranked the number two woman golfer in the nation for Division 2 colleges. After graduation, Robin played on the Futures Golf Tour and in other LPGA events. Robin’s interest in teaching golf was fostered while working with teachers like John Redman, Peter Kostis, and Bob Toski, to name a few. Her prior teaching assignment before Ibis includes Stonebridge Golf and Country Club and Wycliffe Golf and Country Club. Since devoting full time to her teaching career, Robin has been recognized as one of the top 50 women instructors by Golf For Women Magazine, as well as being nominated for the LPGA Professional of the Year and LPGA Teacher of the Year. She has written a number of instructional articles for publications such as Golf for Women and Florida Golfer Magazine. In 2009, Palm Beach Gardens Lifestyle Magazine featured Robin as the woman professional most promoting the game of golf. Bob Olson is beginning his sixth year at Ibis. As a career Club Professional in the South Florida area since 1975, and a PGA Member since 1999, Bob has had the opportunity to work with and learn from a great number of talented golf professionals. |
| Katie Dixon |
Katie was born and raised in Ashland, Kentucky. She began playing golf at the age of 12, and to this day, is the only athlete to be named First-Team All-State Golf from Paul G. Blazer High School. Katie is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where she was a starter on the Varsity Women’s Golf Team. While in college, Katie was consistently ranked in the GolfStat nation-wide top 10 in Putting Average and Fairways Hit. From 2005-2008, Katie was a Teaching Professional at Bellefonte Country Club and was named Head Boys’ Golf Coach at her alma mater. She also helped implement a middle school golf league throughout the Tri-State area. She served a term as Vice President of the Kentucky Women’s Golf Association before moving to Florida to be an Assistant Golf Professional at St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton. Katie became an Assistant Golf Professional at Ibis Golf & Country Club in the fall of 2010. She enjoys success and competes regularly in the PGA South Florida Section events, and recently won the inaugural PGA Women’s Pro-Pro Tournament. As an LPGA Class A Member and PGA Apprentice, Katie’s goal is to help grow the game of golf by helping students realize that they are unique individuals. She believes in capitalizing on the strengths of each student while also developing improvement strategies that fit each player’s personality and preferences, so they can achieve the greatest success. Katie has been a long-time student of Andy Plummer. She has also studied under Rich Mahar, Lee Martin, and Bob Toski. | Steve Lidinsky |
Steve was born and raised in sunny, South Florida. He grew up playing all sports, but it wasn’t until he was twelve years old that his grandfather gave him his first set of clubs and started teaching him the game. He played competitively in high school while getting his first job at the local country club. It was there that he decided he wanted golf to be a part of his future. "I knew from the first time I watched Martin Hall give a golf lesson that I wanted to become the best teacher I possibly could." Steve has spent time with and learned from top instructors like Martin Hall, Hank Haney, Stan Utley, and Phil Cheetham (Head Biomechanics and Director of the TPI Biomechanics Advisory Board). Steve also has an extensive and forever growing library of books, CD's, DVD's, etc., with topics from swing development to course management, mental discipline, physical performance, and so on. "Working for Martin Hall has really opened up my eyes in the world of teaching golf and how there is no one way to swing a golf club. My philosophy about the golf swing entails getting my students to swing on plane, understand what the club face is doing, and the biomechanics necessary to make an efficient, powerful, and, more importantly, repeatable golf swing." I think John Jacobs (noted Golf instructor from England) said it best, "The sole purpose of the golf swing is to produce a correct, repetitive impact, and the method employed is of no significance, as long as it is repetitive." Before becoming a Teaching Professional in 1991, Darren played on the Gold Coast Tour in 1990 and 1991. Darren was the Technical Director/Teaching Professional for the Nicklaus/Flick Golf Schools from 1992-1997 here at Ibis. Darren worked at the Boca Raton Resort and Club from 1998-2004, and in 1999, he became the Lead Instructor for the Sports Illustrated Faults and Cures Golf Schools. He moved on to the ESPN Golf Schools from 2002-2004, and, in January 2005, he returned to Ibis as a Teaching Professional. He has worked under many great professionals in the industry: Jim Flick, Hank Haney, Martin Hall, Dean Reinmuth, and Charlie Epps. Stephanie was born and raised in a small town near Lebanon, Pennsylvania where golf courses were few and far between. She spent most of her time down the road at a $7 all you can play municipal golf course. Her first job was at a local country club where she developed some direction and a new love for the game under award-winning instructor, Mike Swisher. Swisher’s students include PGA Tour Players Jim Furyk and Stu Ingram and was voted Golf Digest’s Top 3 Best Teachers in Pennsylvania twice. Stephanie has taken her many years as a professional and knowledge of the swing from playing against the best in the world, and discovered, each person has their own individual swing. There is no “one way” to swing a club. The game of golf is more enjoyable to a player when there is a mixture of basic fundamentals and a students unique style. Dan has been a member of our Ibis Instructional Team for over seven years. Learning under the direction of Martin Hall, he has developed his instructional background and teaching philosophy. Prior to joining the team here at Ibis, Dan was the Head Professional and Manager of a Par 3 Facility called Fairways East in West Palm Beach, Florida. Dan has a strong understanding of the golf swing and stresses the proper communication between instructor and student, which he feels is one of his strongest traits. Depending on the level of the student, he always tries not to be overly technical in his instruction. His overall objective is to lower his student’s scores. Patricia Lebouc

Patricia joined our Ibis Instructional Team in the fall of 2010. Her career in golf started in Dijon, France, in 1985. Even at 13 years of age, competition always stimulated her full potential and determination to succeed. She decided to become a professional golfer in 1989 and, for the next four-years, trained diligently and improved consistently. She played for the French National Team in 1992 and 1993 and turned professional in 1994, winning her first tournament that same year. Patricia always had a supportive team of people around her to help optimize her goals and training program. This support system is one she still employs today as a golf instructor. Throughout her personal golf career and instructional career, she strives to improve every aspect of her game, as well as that of her students. This achieves balance between the golfer and the person. What motivates Patricia most is the combination of the physical and mental aspects of the game and uniting these to help create a better performing golf swing. Today, helping students find answers for their own golf game is what replaces the challenge of competition, and she is equally passionate about this new direction.

Antoine Lebouc |
Antoine’s teaching career began at the Seignosse Golf Club in southern France in 1989. In order to understand the coaching needs of the high level player, Antoine decided to play on the French golf tours in 1990. He became an accomplished player with several first place finishes and played on the European tour between 1992 and 1998. An injury in 1999 required him to refocus his goals. He acquired his second degree teaching qualification and embarked on his coaching and professional caddying career for his wife Patricia Meunier-Lebouc, with many successes between 2000 and 2009 for the Team Meunier-Lebouc. When Patricia retired from the Tour, Antoine developed a joint teaching/coaching project with fellow European Tour player and past French PGA President, Olivier Edmond. They have opened two European academies in Belgium in 2009 and 2010. He is a passionate teacher and has focused much energy specifically on golf swing technique and making improvements consistent with a player’s skill level and individual goals.
